At seven, Annie Peregrine's father walks out of her life leaving behind an airplane and the secret of her mother's identity. Annie is driven in career (military) as well as other aspects of her life (relationships) to find herself. A mystery comes full circle as her father mysteriously re-enters her adult life bringing not only questions, but a chance for new beginnings too.
