This is the first book of the Deltora Quest series. The kingdom has fallen to the shadowland and the king's belt of Deltora has lost its power as the powerful stones were scattered about the land. Lief and his friends start a quest to find the stones and save the kingdom. I am reading this book aloud with one of my daughters and I really enjoy it. I look forward to the next book!
