The emotionally and psychologically riveting story begins with the past and present romantic involvement of police detectives and fugitives. The "script" passages presented an enticing view of the upcoming illegal happenings. Truly refreshing if not alarming was the unprecedented love portrayed by the fugitives. I enjoyed the read and would recommend to those interested in mysteries with a police bent.
