The Kill Room is a thriller by Jeffery Deaver in the Lincoln Rhyme series. (One of the most well-known books in this series is The Bone Collector.) Like most Jeffery Deaver's thrillers, this novel contains a number of plot twists. It starts with what appears to be a sniper shot delivered from over a mile away. The novel introduces the reader to a gourmet chef ( with recipes on the author's website) and to a drone pilot, among others. The readers gets a feel for what the life of a drone pilot is like. However, the heart of the book is the race to catch a deadly assassin before more people are killed.
